XoftSpySE Review

September 24th, 2008

XoftSpySE is a
spyware remover program that is gaining popularity fast. It was designed by
Paretologic Incorporated, a company that design computer software such as the
popular regcure registry cleaner program. Read on for my
XoftSpySE review.

XoftSpySE has
probably the largest spyware database out of all the spyware remover software.
Currently, it list about 250,000 spyware applications and it is constantly
growing and updated. It can detect and remove spyware, malware, worms, Trojans,
keyloggers, root kits and browser hijackers.

It can
accurately detect threats and remove them completely. The false alarm rate is
pretty low compared to other spyware removal programs I have used. Click here
for a more in depth
XoftSpySE review.

Cell Phone Reverse Lookups

September 23rd, 2008

Cell phones are being used by nurses and patient care techs to ease the load of communication. The overhead pager is slowly disappearing. Cell phones are particularly problematic compared to stationary devices and may facilitate intra- and inter-ward (and perhaps inter-hospital) transmission for a cell phone reverse lookup. Additionally, the potential for nosocomial transmission of MDR pathogens by other electronic devices, such as handheld computers or personal digital assistants, with bedside applications, should be recognized. Cell phones are often very memory limited — every kilobyte saved counts. It’s practically hopeless to try to strip the non-essential parts from larger runtimes (Python, Java — you name it) without severely limiting their functionality (J2ME anyone?).

Ecover Design Software

September 3rd, 2008

If you are selling any online ebooks or software, then something
you may want to consider adding an ebook cover or software cover package.

A picture says a thousand words and consumers like in the offline
world will often judge an ebook or a piece of software by its cover. However,
creating an ecover is difficult and hard to create even if you had a photo
editing software such Photoshop.

Thankfully, an ecover design software such as Coveraction Pro can
solve the problem. Coveraction Pro provides the photoshop actionscripts that
allows you to create ebook cover easily. It is simply a matter of clicking a
few buttons and the ecover design software can do the job in less than 10
seconds.

August 26th, 2008

One of the most common problems home users have is their PC starts
to become slow after using for a period of time. Most often, it is due to the
registry.

Background Checks - Check Your IT Personell

August 26th, 2008

Background Checks - Who To Check

You can use Background Checks to check potentional new employees (if you run a business) or nannies, housekeepers, child-care workers etc. While they are, business wise, generally used to do do complete and thourough background checks on new staff they can also be used to check on current employees. You need to take time to assess your risks and know where trouble may lie. Very often the threat to a company is not coming from the outside. Rather it is coming from where you least expect it: From your own staff of highly trusted and qualified employees.

One of the major risks in a company is often times found within your IT division. The computer and network department of your company usually has access to your workplace when the majority of other employees are not working. They work behind the scenes and as such are able to hide in plain sight. Morale for the IT professional is a big issue and there are facts and figures to back it up. Feeling useless in their current position can drive some employees to take it out on the company. Sometimes the cost of information has a much larger monetary value than actually stealing money. Blackmail and planting computer killers, i.e. a virus is also a possibility. Free criminal background checks can help weed out potential employees who fit this description.

It workers are working often 24/7 and do you actually know what these guys and gals are doing at 02 AM when all others are at sleep?

Make sure you do your Background Checks Today!

Best Anti Spyware Software

August 20th, 2008

Spyware
continues to be a major problem for home computer users and to a extent
business users as well. There are thousands of variants of spyware floating on
the internet, chatroom and IM. Therefore it is important to equip your PC with
an anti spyware software.

One of the best anti spyware software and the one I’m currently using is BitDefender. It cost
$24.99 for a one year licence. It does not take up a lot of memory and the
software is very user-friendly and easy to use. Normally, I just set it to the
default.

If you are
strapped for cash, another
best anti spyware software is Microsoft Windows
Defender. It is free to download and use. However, with windows defender, it is
currently in beta and fee. I’m not sure if it will stay free when they are out
of beta version.

August 5th, 2008

If you are
worried about your kids visiting suspicious websites such as porn, One way to
monitor your kids computer activity is to buy a parental control software. One
of the
best parental control software that I have used is PC TattleTale.

PC TattleTale
uses a powerful key logger to capture the keystrokes and allows you to record
keyboard activity. You can also logout any suspicious websites you deemed not
suitable for your kids. The software installs easily and is very easy to use.

Other a key
logger, the other features of PC TattleTale includes recording myspace
activity, chat rooms and instant messaging. If you are looking for the
best parental control software on the market, I recommend you check out PC
